Saline Moonlight Madness Craft Show
Held
in conjunction with the Saline Community Education Craft Show
on Friday, December 4, 2009. Entries will be displayed at the
Saline Middle School, 7190 N. Maple Road, Saline, from 5:00-11:00
PM. Admission
is $2. Additional activities at the show include: holiday tea,
free movie viewing, gingerbread cookie decorating, child care

Instructions
• Use a board no larger than 18" x 18" to display your gingerbread
• Please name gingerbread and place name on item. Duplicating a Saline
historical building or another location in Saline is also encouraged.
• Winners will be selected by public cast of votes using coins. Each penny
(1cent) will count as a vote ( i.e. quarter = 25 votes). Winners will be announced
on Monday, December 7, 2009, at www.salineshows.com. Be sure to VOTE
for
the
winning entry.
• Submission of entries will be held at Saline Middle School, from 4:00-6:00
PM, on Thursday, December 3. Attach a 3" x 5" card listing your name,
address and category you're entering on the underside of your display base. Also,
prepare a list of any edible items used that may be unusual or questionable. A
registration form is also required.
• Creations must be constructed mainly of gingerbread and icing. Non-visible
interior supports of other materials are allowed.
• Entries for the children's (under age 12) category should have a base
appropriate to the size of the gingerbread house. The base should not exceed
18" x 18". Kits are permissible for the children's category (under
12 and 12-18) and available at Saline Community Education, Historic Union School,
200 N. Ann Arbor, Saline, MI 48176.
• All entries may be picked up at 10:00 p.m., December 4, or they will
be displayed after December 4, in Saline nonprofits, schools and businesses throughout
the
Saline
community with donations going to Saline Area Schools Historic Preservation
Foundation - Weber-Blaess One-Room School (a501(c)3). For more information,
