• Total of 62 baskets given to Food Gatherers, Saline Social Service, The Salvation Army and Aid in Milan plus $443 in donations from the voting process. This is the 3rd year of the project.
• Baskets were registered Friday, March 10, 2010.
• Voting occurred during the 2010 Saline Spring Craft Show from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Visitors were overwhelmed with the creativity and uniqueness of these baskets as the initiative shown in these baskets is extensive.
• Contest sponsored by Saline Community Education, Saline Area Schools and Hoeft Promotions.
• Prizes will be awarded by the sponsors to the above entries.
• Many of the baskets were themed—examples are “Hornet Pride,” “A Night at the Movies,” “Book a Road Trip” and “Something Beachy.”
