• Total of 75 baskets given to Saline Social Service (Sue Brown) and Aid in Milan plus $440 in donations from the voting process. This is the 2nd year of the project.
• Baskets were registered Friday, March 27, 2009.
• Voting occurred during the 2009 Saline Spring Craft Show from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Visitors were overwhelmed with the creativity and uniqueness of these baskets as the ingenuity displayed was amazing.
• Contest sponsored by Saline Community Education, Saline Area Schools and Hoeft Promotions.
• Prizes will be awarded by the sponsors to the above entries.
• Milan Area Schools classrooms also participated.
• Many of the baskets were themed—examples are “Garbage Can Dinner”, “Food Around the World”, and “Down on the Farm”.
